VISION STATEMENT:
The vision of The Valley Partnership is to make possible opportunities
that will enhance the quality of life for all Coachella Valley
residents.
MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of The Valley Partnership is to provide high quality
services and programs which positively impact life choices for children,
youth and adults of the Coachella Valley in the areas of education,
health awareness and prevention alternatives.
GOAL:
The goal of The Valley Partnership is to establish programs to provide
services which promote educational improvement, healthy choices and
prevention alternatives.
The
Valley Partnership is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit agency in
Southern California's Coachella Valley, that has been in existence since
1991. Since then, The Valley Partnership has both initiated and
developed a number of programs to serve the community.
CURRENT PROGRAMS:
AmeriCorps Promote Program
is a mentoring/tutoring program that works with kindergarten through
third grade students who are performing below grade level. By providing
qualified and highly dedicated mentors/tutors, the Promote Program
provides the caring expertise to help our children realize their
potential and rise to the next level in their academic lives.
The Employee Assistance Program is a confidential assessment and referral service specifically tailored for local business and designed to assist employees in resolving personal problems.
The Odyssey
Writes of Passage Program is a character education
literary program that supports academic success while increasing at-risk
high school students' abilities to function as responsible citizens; it
helps students develop skills and qualities, such as improved listening,
creative thinking, self-confidence and acceptance of diversity of
cultural backgrounds and learning styles.
